Alert kids Community Nursery is a new facility for the local community.

Jointly funded by the National Sure Start Programme (North Leyton) and the New opportunities Fund, Alert Kids Community Nursery is part of the government's National Nursery Initiative.

In addition to government support and monitoring the project has benefited from the support of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, especially the local authority's Early Years Team.

The design for the nursery has been commended by the national Sure Start unit as being an 'exciting and innovative model for future nurseries'.
